AccuSpec
eM was retained on multiple occasions to enhance this Windows Mobile-based food safety application originally written for the Apple Newton. Our founder was involved in its original design and implementation. This application replaces hundreds of paper forms used for health code compliance, food safety evaluations, and brand standards assessments. It allows field specialists to perform very detailed inspections, score results and print onsite. The data can then be synced with a Server where further review can be performed. Features include:

PocketMoney®
eM was contracted by Catamount Software to port its PocketMoney financial solution from the Palm OS to Windows Mobile. For many years it could be found on the shelves of stores like BestBuy and Staples. PocketMoney was designed to track your finances quickly with the smallest amount of work. Highlighted features include:
- Unlimited accounts, categories, subcategories
- Powerful filters for reporting data concisely
- Share data with Quicken and MS Money
- Desktop synchronization via Microsoft's ActiveSync technology
Omnia CE®
Harmony Information Systems (formerly Synergy Software) hired Empower Mobility to update their existing Omnia CE for Windows Mobile solution on multiple occasions. Our founder was involved in its original design and implementation. The application allows caretakers to monitor and track the health and wellness of elderly individuals while eliminating the need for paper questionnaires and laptops. It offers an ActiveX control that their development team uses within their existing desktop solution to communicate with the mobile solution without knowing the gritty details. Highlights include:
- Eliminates need to carry a laptop
- Extends existing desktop solution to mobile
- Manages numerous patients and assessments
- Synchronizes automatically upon cradling device
